The Geissele AR-15 USASOC URG-I Near Clone Upper Receiver Assembly set is a near-cloned upper receiver group currently in service with USASOC. Please note this top has a welded and pinned flash arrester, making the overall barrel length over 16″. This rifle top can be installed on any rifle bottom in this configuration with no additional paperwork.

For over 50 years, Geissele URGI discontinued improved complete has been the only significant alteration to the iconic M16/M4 silhouette. NATO 14.5″ 5.56x45mm barrel with a pinned Surefire SF4P. Although barrel lengths and buttstocks have changed, America’s right arm has continuously evolved as each new generation of warriors adopted her. Since then, the sight of the M16/M4 in the capable hands of young Americans has given millions worldwide hope.

That very American silhouette has been altered forever by the USASOC URGI. The combined hammer-forged barrel, mid-length gas system, and Geissele Super Modular Rail MK 16 handguard results in demonstrable gains in hit probability. The USASOC URGI makes the most of its capabilities and is built to withstand the whole strain of the new M855A1 (AB57) ammo. The Geissele URGI handguard effectively creates a brand-new weapon once placed on an existing system. The USASOC URGI is an identical upper receiver used by Geissele super duty upper.
